Polly Garter is a fully restored Lines Bros Sportiboy 4, circa 1927-35. Leather tack is of fine English leather, and sympathetic to the original design, including the detachable saddle. The bridle and martingale are also detachable.
The stand has been replaced, but is also based on the original design.
Black mane and tail, in natural horsehair.
A large fine horse from the heyday of rocking horse manufacture in Britain.
