This cart set has been made to a high standard, with attention to detail. Possibly made as a demonstration model by a carriage maker, all the working parts such as brakes and suspension and shafts are functional, includes two sets of shafts for a single or pair of horses (illustrated). The horses are of laminate construction and mounted on wheeled trolleys. Several small villages bear the name "Eye" in the UK, provenance suggests it may be associated with the village of Eye in Herefordshire.
