Roseberry certainly ticks all the right boxes if you are looking for a top of the range, fine horse. He was made by top English maker, F H Ayres and dates from the 1890s. Ayres are well known for their fine carving, but in Roseberrys case they seem to have gone one step further. Not only does he have some of the most outstanding extra carving, but also a tongue.
He has been fully and sympathetically restored to include a natural horse hair mane and tail, a top quality leather saddle and bridle and his original glass eyes.
