A J.R. & T Smith horse dating to circa 1910. These lovely horses, very similar to Lines, were made by the firm of J.R. & T. Smith, 96 Downham Road, Kingsland, London. The firm operated from 1886 to 1916. Distinctive are the short rocking irons, with the brackets positioned over the tops of the pillars.
Issac has been fully restored, with an antique dapple grey finish. He has new tack, including blonde natural horsehair mane and tail, fixed padded leather saddle and bridle with brass fittings.
The stand is original, although the pillars have been replaced.
