Vintage rocking horse with restoraton kit.

Fielder is a vintage rocking horse of unknown provenance. It is a "box horse" design, popular in the 1930s through to 50s. It is a more elaborate and stronger design than most box horses, though of unknown provenance.

This is an ideal starter retoration project for the aspiring restorer. The kit includes leatherette saddlecloths, rosettes, black mane and tail set in real horse hair and leather strapping. The strapping is cut and nailed with the decorative nails to make up the tack.

The horse itself is sound and fit for purpose.
